Our organization operates programs involved with horse rescue, foster care, rehabilitation, adoption and/or retirement.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care of horses to provide its services.

Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
Our mission is to advocate for, rescue, protect, and defend our God-given equine from abuse and neglect in Tennessee.

Volunteer Opportunities

Shift Volunteers
Minimum Age: 16
A great way to start your day or just unwind after work or school. Spend some time outside and help feed our horses their breakfast or supper. Then it’s on to watering the horses, general barn clean-up, and preparing feed buckets for the next shift. Horse experience preferred but we welcome all volunteers who are strong team players and have a desire to work hard in order to help the horses. Minimum 3 month commitment to one day per week. Position not suitable for large or “one time only” groups.

Minimum Age: 16
Lead our barn shift teams through a morning or evening feeding. Coordinate, manage, and assist in the activities of all volunteers on your shift, including horse handling, horse care, feeding, and general clean up. Must be detail oriented and efficient so as to ensure the continuity of all barn protocol. Applicants for this position will be considered after two months of consistent weekly participation as a barn shift team member. Must be able to attend quarterly shift leaders meeting which are usually held on a Saturday morning.
