Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
To rescue unwanted horses who have suffered from abuse and neglect; and work with select racetracks to re-purpose Off-the-Track Thoroughbreds. Provide each with food, medical attention and personal care until we find an appropriate and responsible placement. We monitor the ongoing well-being for the horse after it leaves Aiken Equine Rescue

Our organization conducts Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT) in accordance with the EQUUS Foundation Guidelines on Qualifications of Organizations Conducting Equine-Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT).

Our organization'operates programs involved with equine rescue, adoption & retirement.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of equines involved in our programs.
