Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
Mission: To improve the social, emotional and behavioral development of children of Western Nevada through quality therapeutic and educational equine programs.
We teach life skills through meaningful interactions with horses. It is our core belief that every child deserves a chance to thrive, and we provide equine assisted programs to support and encourage youth whose needs are not being met in traditional settings, including foster children, youth at risk, children of veterans, and other underserved populations.
Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation): Public Service
Our organization conducts Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT) in accordance with the EQUUS Foundation Guidelines on Qualifications of Organizations Conducting Equine-Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT).
