Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
The Livestock Conservancy's mission is to protect endangered livestock and poultry breeds. Among these are 30 breeds of horses. Endangered horse breeds are an irreplaceable reservoir of genetic diversity and each loss is significant for the future of the horse industry. We provide education, research and breeder support.

Our organization'operates programs involved with equine rescue & adoption.

The mission of our organization is equine-related, but our organization does not involve, care for, or shelter equines to fulfill our mission.
