Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
To save the lives of companion animals through rescue, rehabilitation and adoption; to promote learning, eliminate animal cruelty and be a leader in advancing the highest standards in animal welfare.

The New Hampshire SPCA is the only humane society in New Hampshire that still takes in horses. We have more than tripled the number of horses that we take in each year. In 2016, we took in and rehomed 30 horses. This number has grown substantially, as we were only caring for an average of 2 horses as recently as 2008.

Our organization'operates programs involved with equine rescue & adoption.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of equines involved in our programs.
