Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
To develop innovative programs that bridge educational, employment, and other systems in order to achieve better outcomes and full inclusion for the people we serve.


Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation):  Public Service

Our organization conducts Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT) in accordance with the EQUUS Foundation Guidelines on Qualifications of Organizations Conducting Equine-Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT).

Our organization provides community outreach and/or public education programs involving horses.

Our organization relies on other organization(s) for the care and shelter of equines involved in our programs.

2.7% of our total programs and services are horse-related.

Our organization conducts its horse-related programs at one facility.

Wish List Items


Session Sponsorship
Community Access seeks donations/sponsorship for its Horses & Journeys Lessons from the Herd Wellness programs. We serve military service members, first responders, front line medical care staff, women who are transitioning from substance use disorder treatment, and children and families who are dealing with stress. Community Access partners with Red Barn Stables LLC and is located near Charleston, WV.
