Patron Party Previews Upcoming Fairfield County Hunt Club Horse Show on June 21-25, 2011

WESTPORT, CT - June 8, 2011 - In anticipation of the upcoming Fairfield County Hunt Club Horse Show on June 21-25, 2011, and in appreciation of its sponsors, Horse Show Co-Chairs Alison Ashman and Catherine Herman welcomed over 60 guests at the Horse Show's Patrons Party held at the beautiful home of Catherine and Steve Herman, M.D., in Weston, Connecticut on Saturday, June 4, 2011.

Guests included George N. Venizelos of Wells Fargo Advisors, presenting sponsor of the $25,000 Fairfield Show Jumping Grand Prix, the culminating event which will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011. Among the other corporate sponsors represented were Coca Cola, Corinthian Partners, D'Addario Industries, Fairfield Equine Associates, Hi Ho Petroleum, Margaret Bondy Interiors, Newmark Knight Frank, and Olson Development.

Other horse show corporate sponsors include Buick and GMC, the official vehicle sponsor of the show, Moffly Media, magazine sponsor, Avenue Capital Group, Gary Goldberg Financial Services, Hospital for Special Surgery, Imperial Dental Associates, Agriventures Agway, and Westport Eyecare Associates. Many individual sponsors also attended, including Club President, Raymond F. Condon, and his wife, Clare.

Alison Ashman spoke to the guests about the upcoming show, which features free admission to the public with over 250 competitive classes involving riders of all ages, boutiques offering clothing, jewelry, home accessories and gifts, activities for kids like the Horseless Horseshow on Thursday and the Pet Parade on Friday, and special events like a Fashion and Art Show on Wednesday, Thursday night barbecue on the field, and the exciting and elegant Grand Prix Luncheon on Saturday.

Saturday's Grand Prix Luncheon and all horse show class sponsorships directly benefit The EQUUS Foundation, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) national charitable foundation. The Foundation's mission is to improve the quality of life of horses and people who can benefit from their unique ability to empower, teach and heal.
