How does it work? Horse shows participate in the Best Performance Competition, a joint program of the EQUUS Foundation and the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), by offering the Best Performance class. The class is open to juniors, amateurs, and professionals in all divisions. The winners are selected by the judges every day in every ring from among the competitors wearing the Official EQUUS Foundation Best Performance Armband. Exhibitors purchase the armband for a $20 tax-deductible donation. 100% of the class proceeds are used by the EQUUS Foundation for horse welfare.
