EQUUS Foundation, Platinum Performance® & Kristin Hardin Team Up for the "Charity Woof Cup"

On Saturday, October 22nd at 6:45PM at the Del Mar International Horse Show, West Palm Events will be hosting the 2nd Annual Charity Woof Cup, a charity exhibition event where six teams, comprised of a horse, rider, handler and agility dog, will compete in a relay against the clock. The EQUUS Foundation is pleased to announce that Platinum Performance® and Kristin Hardin of New Cuyama, California, will make up Team EQUUS Foundation.

"We are thrilled and very thankful to West Palm Events and the Del Mar International Horse Show to have this opportunity to raise awareness of our mission to ensure the quality of life for horses and foster the horse-human bond," said Lynn Coakley, EQUUS Foundation President.

"Platinum Performance® is the perfect partner because 'Animal Health' is the Platinum Performance mission," continued Lynn Coakley, EQUUS Foundation President.

"I am happy to ride for the EQUUS Foundation!", said Hardin. "They are all about the horses. I've learned more from my horses than any person, and I believe that if you put your horse first, you always win!"


Check out the video of the 2015 Woof Cup here! This horse show draws a spectator crowd of over 5,000 people, and it attracts the highest level of equestrian athletes. The 2016 Woof Cup precedes the precedes the Longines FEI World Cup™ Qualifying event.

Platinum Performance® will also be donating $2,500 in gift cards to the EQUUS Foundation for the benefit of equine charities involved with the rescue, rehabilitation, retraining and re-homing of horses and those providing equine assisted therapy and activities to people with special needs.

Hardin gives all the horses under her care Platinum Performance to keep them healthy, sound, and help support the longevity of their competitive career.

Kristin's horse, Platinum's Pedro, was still winning Grand Prix's at 19 years old, and retired from the sport at 20, sound and fit. Kristin said, "I give credit to Platinum Performance for the age defying results he has achieved."
