EQUUStar Clementine Goutal and Upper Echelon Academy Kick Off 2018 #RideForHorses Campaign
The EQUUS Foundation is thrilled to welcome Clementine Goutal as an EQUUStar and to partner with Upper Echelon Academy (UEA) to enhance our efforts to further horse protection in new and innovative ways. "Clementine is an exemplary horsewoman and her compassion and dedication to horses is remarkable," said Valerie Angeli, EQUUS Foundation VP Communications.
Goutal is the Founder and President of the Upper Echelon Academy (UEA), which provides tutoring to young equestrians aimed at maximizing each child's capacity to excel academically and athletically. "UEA's partnership with the EQUUS Foundation enables us to spread awareness, encourage involvement, and inspire change makers," said Goutal. "We will be encouraging all our students to join the #RideForHorses campaign - an effort to inspire and engage everyone who cares about horses to help ensure the welfare of all of America's horses," announced Goutal.

UEA will be hosting the first #RideForHorses Rally on Monday, January 15th in Wellington, Florida, to introduce their students and their peers to ways they can give back and create a vital impact as horse protectors. The Rally will include carnival and gymkhana games - and also a "Meet & Mingle" with adoptable horses - and Miniature horses - from local EQUUS Foundation-endorsed equine charities.
"Horses have enhanced my life in a magical way since I can remember. Growing up with them was an incredible gift, as good days were made better and harder times assuaged by the presence of ponies and horses. Providing the best possible care for my own has always been an obvious priority, but I was ignorant to how many animals are deprived of affection and safety. I am proud to be an EQUUStar because I am a passionate horse lover and advocate of equine welfare, and I'm determined to spread awareness of the animals in need of our help," said Goutal.
