Thoroughbred Charities of America (TCA) is an Alliance member of the EQUUS Foundation. The EQUUS Foundation Alliance offers a mechanism to address national areas of interest in the equine community through its alliance with national non-profit organizations and government entities that share a commitment to equine welfare. Mission:
To provide a better life for Thoroughbreds, both during and after their racing careers, by supporting qualified repurposing and retirement organizations and by helping the people who care for them. TCA distributes grants to charitable organizations in Thoroughbred rehabilitation, retraining, re-homing, and retirement; backstretch and farm employee programs; research; and equine-assisted therapy programs.
