Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
To improve the lives of people with disabilities through the healing power of horses. The Right Step uses horses as partners in therapeutic riding and equine assisted learning.
Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation): Public Service
Our organization conducts Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT) in accordance with the EQUUS Foundation Guidelines on Qualifications of Organizations Conducting Equine-Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT).
Our organization does not provide community outreach and/or public education programs involving horses. Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of horses and also uses horses to provide our services that are cared for and sheltered by another organization(s).
100% of our total programs and services are horse-related.
