Germ (Harem) is one of those horses that one cannot help but notice. When Koreen Greenberg purchased Harem in February of 2009, little did she know that at his debut that season at the Monterey Spring Fest, he would earn the Grand Championship in the Amateur Park Division with a beautiful performance.

The season continued, with more outstanding performances across divisions and across miles, in Saddle Seat Pleasure, Saddle Seat Park and Show Pleasure Driving. The journey concluded that season, with the beautiful black gelding earning 31 wins, including five World Championships, two Reserve World Championships and two National Grand Championships at the International Friesian Show Horse Association World (IFSHA) Finals in St. Louis, Missouri. His successful first season was recognized with honor and outstanding achievement, with the Saddle Horse Report Top Ten Champion status for Friesian Under Saddle and Friesian Driving Division.
2010 was another wonderful show season for the majestic black Friesian. The Arizona Saddlebred Futurity offered the opportunity for the gourgeous black horse to shine, earning the Championship titles in the Amateur Park division and the Open Show Pleasure Driving division. Harem earned the Open Division Champion and Grand Champion Show Pleasure Driving at the California Saddle Horse Futurity in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The year closed at the International Friesian Show Horse Association World (IFSHA) and Grand National Show, with stunning performances in the Amateur Show Pleasure Driving, earning the National Grand Championship title. His show stopping performance in the Carriage Pleasure Driving Turnout earned the coveted Richard Snavely perpetual trophy. Harem had the crowd on their feet once again, as he completed his victory pass winning the National Grand Championship in the Concours D’ Elegance Pleasure Driving, and remains undefeated to date. Harem was again recognized for his outstanding achievements, with Saddle Horse Report, Top Ten Champion -Friesian Driving division. 2010’s exceptional accomplishments, earned the recognition of excellence from the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), with Regional Championships, and representation of the Friesian breed, on the 2010 United States Equestrian Federation Recognized National Affiliate Breed/Discipline promotional poster!
2011 was another year of unstoppable perfection. He had the full attention as he entered the arena with grace and power at Santa Barbara Nationals, taking a new rider to the winners circle in the Saddle Seat division. The Carousel Charity Horse Show offered trainer Rob Wallen the center ring position as he met his amateur driver for the Champion and Grand Champion Show Pleasure Driving wins.

This is where he would return in 2012 to bring the beautiful gelding center ring time and time again. Harem dominated the Saddle Seat Division earning the World Champion Open, Amateur, Junior, and Saddle Seat Medal divisions, and earned Rob Wallen the opportunity to take home the World Champion Show Pleasure Driving Division at the Friesian World Finals in Del Mar, Caifornia. This amazing gelding added eight additional unanimous World Titles to his career wins, culminating with his earning his place as a United States Equestrian Federation Horse of Honor in 2012.

Said one of his many admirers, "Harem is a horse that you have to watch. You cannot take your eyes off him. There are good ones and then there are GREAT ones. Harem is a GREAT ONE!"
