WESTPORT, CT - October 29, 2012 - The EQUUS Foundation along with the Jane Goodall Institute, Villalobos Rescue Center, Earthwatch Institute, Petfinder Foundation, American Humane Association and National Wildlife Federation are the seven charities selected by Animal Planet to participate in its R.O.A.R Matching Campaign, which stands for Reach Out. Act. Respond. October 31 is the last day to show Animal Planet that "Horses Have the Loudest ROAR".

Horses Roared in Washington!

EQUUS Foundation was a sponsor of Kids Day at the Washington International Horse Show on Saturday, October 27, 2012.

Hundreds of families turned out to watch the equestrian competition and enjoy fun-filled activities like pony rides, a horseless horse show, and bracelet making provided compliments of Animal Planet.

They also showed their support for horses by proudly wearing the badge, "Horses ROAR".
