Fete Cheval Etoile

Introducing the new "Fete Cheval Etoile" & the Dazzling Cirque Vertigo Troupe

WESTPORT, CT - February 1, 2013 - This year's event, Fete Cheval Etoile, to benefit the EQUUS Foundation, on Friday evening, March 8, 2013, is promising to be the "hit" of the social scene at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) in Wellington, Florida.

Co Chairs Jenny Belknap Kees, Ellen Crown and Elizabeth Press have arranged a star-studded evening to celebrate the extraordinary talent of horses and the magical and powerful bond between horses and people - thanks to presenting sponsors, Dr. Betsee Parker - Huntland, Spy Coast Farm, and the Crown Family.

The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. in PBIEC's "newest and coolest" setting with cocktails followed by a luscious dinner buffet and dancing to the music of UKI Productions. Guests arriving at PBIEC's very own "Central Park" will be greeted by the "Atmosphericals", performers who will be circulating through the crowd and setting the mood for the evening's festivities.

But that's not all.

While enjoying cocktails in PBIEC's Gallery and being tempted by many unique and popular silent auction items on display, event guests will be the first to peruse the photo gallery of the incredible horses that will be inducted into the Horse Stars Hall of Fame and the unveiling of the Horse Stars Hall of Fame virtual website.

The Horse Stars Hall of Fame is a joint effort of the EQUUS Foundation and the United States Equestrian Federation to honor the contributions of amazing horses that have excelled in sport and in careers serving the public by sharing the stories of their athletic and humanitarian feats.

But that's not all.

While enjoying dinner in PBIEC's Wellington Club, event guests will experience the "cirque des etoiles", a sensational show to be performed this year by Cirque Vertigo featuring acrobatics, balancing acts and their popular "flying" aerials . This troupe brings together two legendary circus families, the Wallenda's and the Arestov's.

Tables of six start at $2,500. A limited number of individual seats will be available at $250 per person on request. Please contact Lynn Coakley at mail@equusfoundation.org for information on sponsorships, auction donations, and table reservations, or visit equusfoundation.org/fete.
