NYC Carriage Horses Find Forever Home at Warioto

Beethoven and Juliet, two freshly retired New York City carriage horses, arrived at their forever home - Warioto Farm - to join Max and Molly, also retired New York City carriage horses adopted by Warioto last year.

Warioto Farm, an EQUUS Foundation Forever Farm, is a historic, renowned, third generation hunter show barn in beautiful, Franklin, Tennessee, know for its champion show horses.

Beethoven on the job in NYC!

Joni Werthan, President of Warioto Farm, said, "These adoptions, made possible through the EQUUS Foundation, has truly made a lifetime dream a reality.

Since I was a child visiting New York City and seeing the carriage horses, I've been passionate about giving them Forever Homes. The EQUUS Foundation "Forever Farms" program has made this possible."

After many years of faithful service delighting tourists, Beethoven and his friend, Juliet, are now permanently retired at Warioto.
