EQUUS Foundation Hosts Live Screening of Award-Winning Film to a Full House on the Plight of America's Wild Horses!
The theater was sold out with horse lovers who came together on Wednesday, March 30th, in Wellington, Florida, renown winter hub for equestrians, to view and celebrate the new documentary, "The Mustangs: America's Wild Horses", as well as join in for the Q&A with celebrated horse welfare experts following the film. Steven Latham, Producer and Co-Director, Gerry Byrne, Vice Chairman, Board Member, Penske Media, publisher of The Robb Report, the presenting sponsor of the screening, and Valerie Angeli, EQUUS Foundation VP of Engagement, welcomed the movie-goers.
Panelists included representatives of two charities featured in the film -- Neda DeMayo, Founder and President, Return to Freedom, Jimmy Welch, President, Veterans R&R, and Patti Gruber, Program Director, Operation Wild Horse, a Veterans R&R program along with Chris Heyde, one of the nation's leading animal protection lobbyists.

The film takes audiences on an odyssey throughout America to places few people have seen or even know about. There are more than 80,000 wild horses on our federal lands and more than 50,000 in government corrals.
Executive produced by Robert Redford, Patti Scialfa Springsteen and Jessica Springsteen, the film includes songs by Bruce Springsteen, Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson and an original song written by Diane Warren and performed by Blanco Brown.

The EQUUS Foundation will be offering an exclusive virtual private screening of the film featuring a Q&A with several of the film's participants and mustang experts on Thursday, June 16 at 7:30 pm.
