Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Shows Welcomes The Rider's Closet
The Rider's Closet Donation Trunk will be accepting donations of new and lightly used riding attire throughout the two weeks of the Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Shows, May 7-12, 2024, and May 14-19, 2024.
The Rider's Closet provides riding apparel to individual riders in need, scholastic riding programs, pony clubs, equestrian camp programs and equine charities. Founded in 2006 by Georgina Bloomberg, The Rider's Closet merged with the EQUUS Foundation in 2019. All donations are 100% tax-deductible! Your support helps make working with horses more inclusive and accessible.
How Do I Donate?
To drop off your donation during the Old Salem Farm Spring Shows, visit The Rider's Closet tent located across from the show office and leave your items in the tack trunk. Please note the program cannot accept donations of helmets, protective vests or horse apparel. Please visit

The Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Shows Exhibitor Party on Friday, May 17, is open to horse show exhibitors, owners, trainers and attendants in addition to invited guests of Fairfield Equine Associates and the EQUUS Foundation to enjoy delightful delectables and a sparkling signature drink catered by One Twenty One Restaurant along with a cash bar.
