The EQUUS Foundation ROARs With Social Media—Share the Link and Give Horses a Voice!

WESTPORT, CT - September 17, 2012 - Forty-four days remain until Animal Planet’s R.O.A.R (Reach Out. Act. Respond) matching campaign will come to a close. As the newest member of the matching campaign, the EQUUS Foundation is working diligently with Animal Planet to get Helping Horses Heal People’s name and mission out there to help raise money throughout the eight-week campaign.

Let's put Horses at the top of the R.O.A.R leader board by sharing our campaign via Facebook.

Currently, the EQUUS Foundation is leading the way with social media for September, already accumulating over 180 shares. With your help, the EQUUS Foundation can earn the additional monthly $2,500 bonus for having the most shares and giving the loudest R.O.A.R.

That means $5,000 and all it takes is a click of a button to give back to these gentle giants!

Simply share the link with all of your friends and family to give the horses a voice: http://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.globalgiving.org%2Fprojects%2Frescue-retrain-and-re-home-horses-to-heal-people%2F&t=Rescue%2C+Retrain+%26+Re-Home+Horses+to+Heal+People,

Let's Show Animal Planet that Horses Have the Loudest ROAR!

From September 1 through October 31, your donations will be matched dollar for dollar up to $120,000 from the proceeds of Animal Planet licensed products.

The EQUUS Foundation can also receive bonuses -
• as the Top Monthly Fundraiser – Dollar Amount ($2,500);
• the charity with the Most Unique Number of Monthly Donations ($2,500);
• by Spreading the Word with the Highest Number of Shares on Facebook ($2,500) each month; and
• the charity with the Loudest ROAR Heard by Judges ($2,500).

The R.O.A.R donations will be used to rescue, retrain and re-home unwanted and abandoned horses as therapy horses. Just $10 will buy a day’s worth of hay to feed two to three horses and $25 will provide an equine therapy session for one student or hoof care for one horse. $1,000 is all that is needed to rescue, retrain and re-home ONE horse.

Copy and pass this link, https://equusfoundation.org/ROAR, to all your horse-loving friends and family! Give between September 1 and October 31 so horses have the loudest ROAR!
