Bryck came to Rainbow Meadows in August of 2023. He had previously been a camp horse with some “undesirable behaviors.” Once he arrived, he went through some investigative training, trying to figure out what was causing these behaviors. In February of 2024, he was finally diagnosed with Kissing Spines. In April of 2024, he had surgery to correct the lesions on his spine. After an appropriate recovery time from the surgery, he was slowly reintroduced to riding. He has recovered very well and has become a favorite of many volunteers at the rescue. His new family plans on using him for light trail riding and as a companion for their young daughter. Every horse deserves a little girl to love them, and that is exactly what the gentle gelding got.
