Blue and Quincy are two older horses that have been well loved and cared for. Sadly, their owner was in hospice when her neighbor called asking if we could help rehome Blue and Quincy. This Old Horse is often full and this time was no different. But we are always willing to help find a new home.
     
     One of our Placement Team Members, Denise, met Blue and Quincy and the neighbor. She created two ads but did say that Blue and Quincy would like to stay together. We actually had a few people express an interest. One person, Susan, came with her trainer and decided that these two would be perfect. They did need to have the vet out to bring them up to date. While this was waiting to be done, their owner passed away. Luckily the neighbor was there to continue their care and to coordinate their move.
     
     Blue and Quincy left on May 4th for their next big adventure together. So far they are acclimating nicely to their new home and are taking the first baby steps to being trail horses again. I firmly believe that it takes a village to have horses and there is no better example of this than Blue and Quincy's journey to a new chapter in their lives.
