Alteza came back to This Old Horse. The adopter was moving back to Colorado from Minnesota. They were not going to have any land so they could not afford to keep Alteza. Alteza was overwhelmed by our facility and number of horses. She had only been with a few horses in the past in quiet areas. She bonded to Boo but he did not bond with her. Everytime she came in for grain, you could see the confusion and worry. We were so relieved to find her a home with one other horse in the country. Apparently she was relieved too because she rolled shortly after arriving in her new home. The other mare has been trying to show her dominance but Alteza doesn't really seem to be bothered. She is now allowed in the shelter and barn. YEA!!
