Chronicle Team King, Bellissimo and Goutal to compete on February 20th at the EQUUS Foundation Best Performance Team Invitational
Candice King will captain the Chronicle of the Horse team of Nicole Bellissimo and Brianne Goutal for the first of its kind Best Performance Team Invitational, the featured competition of the EQUUS Foundation Fete Cheval Etoile on February 20th at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, Florida.
"It's an event for everyone competing at the Winter Equestrian Festival to support because 100% of the proceeds go directly to horse welfare", said Mark and Katherine Bellissimo.
"Giving back to horses is why we are getting the support of top grand prix riders and the legendary George Morris and Katie Prudent as judges for this unique competition," said Chrystine Tauber, President of the United States Equestrian Federation and co-chair of the Fete Cheval Etoile with Jenny Belknap Kees, EQUUS Foundation Chairman of the Board. Teams of grand prix riders will compete over a 1.35m jumper course judged on their style and performance.
King, Bellissimo and Goutal will be competing against Max Amaya, Molly Ashe-Cawley, Hayley Barnhill, Georgina Bloomberg, Derek Braun, Kirsten Coe, Kent Farrington, Lillie Keenan, Darragh Kenny, Laura Kraut, Beezie Madden, Rodrigo Pessoa, Nicki Simpson, Jessica Springsteen, Jimmy Torano, Hardin Towell, McLain Ward and Denise Wilson.
The Chronicle of the Horse will join team sponsors, Animal Planet, Ariat International, Blackburn Architects, CallariCars.com, Fairfield Equine Associates and Split Rock Jumping Tour.
