Frank Madden and Jimmy Torano To Emcee the Spirit Award Reception on Sunday, February 25
Renowned equestrians, Frank Madden and Jimmy Torano, will host a diverse group of members of the equestrian community and the equine industry at the upcoming Spirit Award Reception in Wellington, Florida, on February 25th, for the presentation of the EQUUS Foundation Spirit Award.
Guests will enjoy a delightful assortment of passed and buffet-style hors d'oeuvres, and an open bar along with music provided by DJ, Josh Lower. There will also be an opportunity for some shopping. Attire is Casual Chic.
This year's recipients of the EQUUS Foundation Spirit Award are Thomas O'Mara, President of the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), and David O'Connor, USEF Chief of Sport and former USEF President. O'Mara and O'Conor are receiving the Spirit Award for their role in adopting the "Social License to Operate" initiative and making the welfare of America's horses paramount in equestrian sport. The Spirit Award was established by the EQUUS Foundation in 2023 to recognize equestrians who have significantly elevated the image and desirability of horses.
