Rave Reviews of Hilltop Bio Products from EQUUS Foundation Guardian Charities
Earlier this year, Hilltop Bio donated $6,000 in products to EQUUS Foundation Guardian charities, including Central Kentucky Riding for Hope (CKRH), Maine State Society for the Protection of Animals, and Nature's Edge Therapy Center. Hilltop Bio combines science and compassion as a leading developer of cutting-edge regenerative therapies for animals. A healthy horse that feels good is essential to the foundation of any bond between human and horse, and anything we ask horses to do. Optimal wellness is empowering to horses — and the human beings interacting with them.
"We are thrilled to be a partner with the EQUUS Foundation where we are dedicated to creating cutting edge regenerative therapy products that are accessible to all horses. It's been so rewarding to hear the stories about our products helping horses through the Guardian charities. We're looking forward to supporting the EQUUS Foundation for many years to come," said Amanda Drobnis, Hilltop Bio CEO.
"We are so happy with the results we have seen with Alex and are extremely grateful to the EQUUS Foundation & Hilltop Bio for providing us with this wonderful opportunity. Alex aka Appealing Alex, a 13-year-old Thoroughbred gelding, is an invaluable member of CKRH's therapeutic riding program," said Pat Kline, CKRH Executive Director.
Kline added, "Utilizing a product like Strydaflex has been immensely beneficial, as it not only treats existing pathologies but also fosters a healthier joint environment over the long term. This medication has allowed Alex to transition back into our therapeutic riding program and continue changing the lives of children and adults with special abilities."
Dr. Sara Escaro, Hagyard Equine Medical Institute, is overseeing Alex's treatment alongside Dr. Sydney Hughes.

Lady, a 23-year-old Thoroughbred Cross, was one of three horses that came to MSSPA as part of a seizure in Vermont in July 2022. The other two have since been adopted. Lady, suffering from scratches, was the chosen candidate for Hilltop Bio's Regenaflex-M by MSSPA's veterinarian, Dr. Tom Judd.

"The health of our horses is paramount to the success of our Speech and Occupational Therapy programs," said Becky Payne, Director and Speech Pathologist. These essential medications are vital in maintaining the well-being of our horses and in helping them perform their central role in the therapeutic services we provide."

Nature's Edge veterinarian, Edward I. Metcalf, DVM, Leading Edge Veterinary Clinic, said, "I've been completely satisfied with the results of using the Hilltop Bio line of products." Dr. Metcalf treated Sonny, an 11-year-old Icelandic Gelding with Pure Optic and Regenaflex-M. Sugar, a 5-year-old Paint mare, KC, a 5-year-old Quarter Horse Mare, and Dee, a 16-year-old Icelandic Mare, received Reganaflex-M and Regenaflex-Gel.
"We always so grateful when an organization that manufactures quality equine wellness products cares enough to think of the EQUUS Foundation and the charities that work day in and day out to find homes for at-risk equines and equines in transition, provide a safe haven for aged equines, and increase opportunities for equines to engage, inspire and empower people. We so appreciate Hilltop Bio for lending a helping hand to these deserving horses," said Lynn Coakley, EQUUS Foundation President.
